I understand that there are some questions out there. I haven’t gotten any myself, but to get everyone on the same page: Friday: Invitation only D.A.s and some (or all?) league presidents at the Mariners. D.A.s and presidents are allowed a guest. No staff for D.A.s. Saturday: Everyone who is interested in Little League is invited – yes even encouraged – to attend the state meeting at Redmond Community Center at Marymont Village. You can bring guests. Meeting starts at 9:30. Lunch provided. Sunday: Invitation only D.A.s and a plus one.

World Series hats

I have a collection of World Series hats Little League sent D.A. Mine go from 1996 to 2019. I don’t think we’ve gotten them the last two years. As I recall, these are a special color for D.A.s but it doesn’t say anything on them about D.A.s. I don’t wear hats and they are just taking up space. First one to answer can have them delivered to the state meeting Oct. 1.

I am as frustrated as several of you regarding details for the Mariners / meeting weekend. Here’s what I know – Friday night is going to remain a presidents/D.A. evening. He said he would have invitations out this week. I don’t know the mechanism for getting presidents there and I haven’t heard about guests. If I had to guess, I would say the presidents who registered their teams on the website for tickets will probably be the invited presidents (but I don’t know). Marc is not expecting us to do the invitations last I heard. Saturday we will have our meeting from 9:30 to finish. Bob has obtained the Redmond Community Center at Marymount where we have met before. Pat Ryan is the host, since the state tournament moves to District 2 in 2023. Sunday, the Mariners will host D.A.s (plus John and Bev) and a guest for the 1:00 game. Marc is aware not everyone may be able to attend. He understands now that we planned for our meeting back in June when I got the date from him. Changing plans after that isn’t good. I am waiting for a response from Marc on the questions you have been asking.
