Greetings All, Updates: TV Shutdown on-Schedule Upgrade updates Fiber Rollout - Grantham Phone Service Moving - Temporary Interruptions and Backup number Home and Garden Show Report TV Shutdown on-Schedule Our RodeoTV service will be terminating on schedule March 31, 2024. This is our third notice about that. Final bills for TV will be sent out on the 1st of April. We appreciate all our TV customers, but unfortunately the cost of acquisition, delivery and support for the TV system has gotten out of hand. We were seeing pricing for channels go up in some cases 30-40%! We strongly recommend FuboTV if you want a good replacement option in terms of cost. It's still going to be $90-100 for most folks but it does have the locals and it's got a lot of sports. Upgrade updates We are still awaiting some logistical issues to work themselves out then we will implement our next round of system upgrades. We have been on hold about 3 weeks as we wait for some new equipment for the network. It should be arriving early next week with an installation date a day or two after. This final piece is some amazing technology that will provide us with way more capacity than ever before. It also will help us manage the network better. During these upgrade cycles you can expect small, brief outages either in some, none or all of the network. They should usually be less than 20-30 mins and will occur next week some time. A few hours before we work on the networks, we'll post notices here and let everyone know we are being busy beavers and building stuff. our plan is not to be too intrusive and do most of the work late at night this go around.like between midnight and 2AM. Fiber Rollout - Grantham We are on track for our Fiber Rollout in the Grantham area beginning sometime around April 15. They are still testing circuits, but we are all primed and ready to go and it seems like we have a TON of new customers to put on Fiber. IF you know someone in the Grantham area and they would like FIBER OPTIC SPEED to the home, refer them to us. You'll get a discount on your next month of internet and they will get a discount on their first month too! It's a win-win-win! Phone Service Moving - Temporary Interruptions and Backup number We are moving phone services this week. We have a new VOIP system for our office we are implementing. IF you have issues getting through to us, you can always email, or call our "special" number: 509-210-3023. We'll be here, just tinkering with a new gadget! Home and Garden Show Report We were at the Home and Garden show at the Nez Perce Fair Pavilion that was sponsored by KAT-FM. It was a great time and we got a chance to talk to more than 175 folks that stopped by the booth. We gave away a $25 gift card to Schurman's Hardware in Clarkston, and a brand new home router. Lots of folks came by and talked to us about their internet, and it was very interesting to hear their experiences with other providers. We also got to meet several of our existing customers and it was good to catch up with them! As always, we greatly appreciate our Rodeo Networks customers. you all are the best! Planned Maintenance today....

Greetings All, We are reminding all our Rodeo Networks customers that we are starting our planned maintenance today between 1:30PM and 3:00PM. Our plan is to do this in stages (largely due to the fact it will be raining after 3:00PM today). Part of the issue is that one of the places we need to upgrade is at the end of a bad mountain road and if we try to travel the road in the rain to move the equipment to the site, we’d most likely fall off a cliff trying to get to where we need to…. That would slow down tech support significantly 😊 So we will do part of it today (which should see some additional functionality) and then finish on Thursday (possibly in the wee hours of the morning on Friday) which would finish this weeks long process of upgrading and enhancing our network. If all goes well, we should see a 5-7 minute “blip” in connectivity between 1:30 and 3:00 today sometime. Then the systems should recover and work as normal. Hi All, Time for our Monthly Update! Some important stuff here! Upgrading Uplinks! RodeoTV being replaced! Grantham Fiber Going Active! New Rodeo Networks Website! Come See us at the Home and Garden Show! Referral Program! Upgrading Uplinks! Over the last 2 months we have been going through a process adding equipment and bandwidth to upgrade our networks. The final piece will be done next week and we should more than double the available bandwidth to all wireless customers and 10x the amount of bandwidth for the fiber customers. There MAY be a short period on Monday the 11th or Tuesday the 12th where the network is down for 10-30 minutes while we put these last pieces into place (Most likely we will try to do it during off-peak hours). This will alleviate the congestion we are seeing in the early evenings on some of the primary backhauls. All-in-all the network has been up MORE than 99.99% on the wireless side and our fiber optic side has been 100% in the last 45 days! RodeoTV being replaced RodeoTV has been a great alternative to Cable TV for the last 5 years, but alas the time has come to retire it and ride a new horse. RodeoTV will be dropped as of March 31, 2024 as the costs have spiraled out of control for delivering TV. To keep up with the rising cost of the primary network content, we would have to increase rates almost 30%!! Therefore we have been researching options for our RodeoTV customers. and we have a few. Our FAVORITE choice is FuboTV. Fubo has the most channels, and the most sports for the best price (as of this writing). Currently their package that is similar to our basic package has an introductory price of $69 per month, then after the first month it's $89. It has ALL the good channels PLUS lots of sports including PAC12, ESPN, and NFL. It also has MLB, NHL, and may be adding NBA shortly. We recommend this if you want TV. decent price and a good offering. They DO NOT offer Sunday Ticket, (more on that later), BUT, they do have plenty of football and lots of sports channels. (actually more sports than our basic tier). You can find them here : http://www.fubotv.com . FUBO has the Local ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX affiliates, and some of their sub-channels for each market. Next choice (and our second pick) is YouTubeTV. They have fewer channels, but cost a little less. For an extra fee you can get NFL Sunay Ticket. It's pricey, but has ALL the football games each Sunday. Fubo has MORE sports, but YouTubeTV has the NFL Sunday Ticket. (for an extra fee). We still like FUBO better because of the choice vs. price. YouTube does have the basic local affiliates. Currently they are running a special where the first month is $63 bucks then $73 each month after that. For the Budget Conscious consumer of tv, PhiloTV is a good option. It's $25 but a lot fewer channels, with limited sports. It's worth it to have some easy choices, but not as fully featured as the other two we mentioned. Philo does not have local channels and you would need a TV antenna to see those. ALL services have DVR, with varying terms and conditions. A couple have "Catchup-TV" or the ability to rewind, pause, fast forward, etc live streams. Your new TV agreement would be with the streaming company itself as Rodeo Internet/Rodeo Networks does not have an affiliate relationship with ANY of them, although in the VERY near future you will be able to sign up with Fubo on the Rodeo Website. We like that product the most and want to be able to offer folks a TV product somehow through Rodeo. While we really didn't want to stop delivering our own brand of TV, the market has gotten to the point where it is too expensive and the profit margins are shrinking. We FULLY expect that even these budget conscious streaming platforms will be near $100 next year. coming into line with "regular" cable costs. Also, Warner Bros, Disney, Discovery, and Fox have started a new sports streaming service that is going to disrupt the TV market. That App Disney/FOX is available now or VERY soon for streaming sports. Fubo is suing the partnership for Anti-Trust reasons because they are locking up all the rights to sporting events and trying to block out competitors (allegedly). The WORST choices, in our opinion, are Dish Networks "Sling" product, and DirecTV's product "DirecTV Stream". Neither one have the channel options or features for the price that is competitive with the others. we COULD have developed an affiliate agreement with these companies but chose not to simply because there are better value, support, and service providers in the market. We are thankful for those customers that partook in RodeoTV for the last 5-6 years and we appreciate you very much. We can help you transition to one of the streaming services if you need us to, just call our main number and request tech support or sales. Grantham Fiber Going Active! Our new Fiber Project will be active on April 1!!! We are VERY excited about this as this opens up hundreds of new subscribers for Rodeo and a very cool fiber network!!! The area is in Clarkston, roughly from 6th Street in the east, to Chestnut in the south, Fair street in the port, and 13th street in the west. These homes can have either underground or above ground fiber with several "speed" plans starting at $39! This is such a great deal we have some special offers listed below, and a WAY ANYONE can get FREE internet for a month. New Rodeo Networks Website Rodeo is getting a new website with more information, and services for our Rodeo Networks Customers. The new website should be out by April 1 (Hopefully). When it is active you will have the ability to communicate with the tech support crew, request new services, and find out about network status by neighborhood. The old site, which has served us well is being retired after 10 years to be replaced by a new one with more features. Come and See us at the Home and Garden Show! We will be at the Home and Garden show at the Lewiston Fairgrounds March 15, 16, and 17. We will have a booth there, and will be giving away some goodies, you can spin the "Wheel of Prizes", and meet the crew of RodeoTV. The Home and Garden show opens on Friday at 2:00 and runs all weekend. We'd love to see you there! Rodeo Referral Program! We have two specials going on with respect to referrals. Rodeo Upgrade Update

All, We are still in process of upgrading the circuits feeding Rodeo Internet, we hope to have this finished today. Additionally, we'd like to remind you that you will see a slight increase in rates this month. We advised all that we would be increasing rates back in December, and again in January with February being the first month of the increase being active. Those who have a current contract will maintain their rate until their contract expires and are not subject to a rate increase until that time. We haven't raised rates in several years, but unfortunately we have to. minimum wage is 4 dollars an hour higher than the last time we did an across the board rate increase to give you an idea of how long we have held the costs down. Our customer premise equipment is almost $20 more than it was when we set the prices on it last. we want to continue to improve our services to you and to do that we need to make sure costs are covered. Finally, the ACP registration window is now closed. The ACP program is scheduled to end in April of 2024. If you would like to see it continue, please contact your congressman as this is a federal program. Hurry as time is quickly approaching when the program is out of funding. All, We are upgrading our feeds today that feed the entire network. We expect less than 30 minutes downtime across the entire network as we increase our feed capacity by over 500%. This will mean better internet for everyone and better TV services for those that get TV from us. This work will be done across the day today. ACP Potentially Ending

All, We are writing to let you know that subject to Congressional funding (or not) the ACP program may be ending in April of 2024. Currently it is NOT funded past this date. IF Congress does not continue to fund the program then any subscribers that are ACP customers will have to pay the full amount of the subscription themselves. IF Congress does continue to fund the ACP then we will continue to provide the ACP billing to our subscribers. To contact your local Congressional representative and voice your opinion on whether or not ACP needs to continue, you can contact them here: <https://mcmorris.house.gov/> https://mcmorris.house.gov/ . Ms. McMorris-Rogers is the congressional representative for your area in Washington. In Idaho it's Russ Fulcher https://fulcher.house.gov/ and they will register your concern about the program. ACP is the "Affordable Connectivity Program" provided by the Federal Government. It subsidizes up to $30 for your internet bill. Subscribers that qualify based on income receive this subsidy from the government. It is not a program provided by Rodeo, but rather Rodeo is an ACP approved provider of connectivity. All terms and conditions of the ACP program are governed by the Federal Government, the FCC, and administrated by Rodeo Internet for it's subscribers. This program, usually called "ACP", is a program where the Federal Government pays a subsidy so you can better afford your internet or telephone. Rodeo is a certified ACP provider and we can help guide you through the process to get signed up for help for your internet bill. ACP can pay up to $30 on your internet costs each month. Upgrade to Rodeo Networks Infrastructure

All, In the next 2 weeks or so we will be switching backbone providers for our Rodeo Networks technical infrastructure. What this means is that we are upgrading the amount of available bandwidth feeding our networks. We are working to make the transition seamless and non-impactful to our subscribers in terms of service interruptions, but we are also planning for contingencies should it not go smoothly. We will be "dual illuminating" the circuits for a while. Which means BOTH will service the network simultaneously and when we are sure the new one is stable and right, we will turn off the old one. The BIGGEST impact will be those customers (primarily businesses) that require a static public IP. WE WILL HAVE TO PROVIDE NEW ONES FOR YOU during this transition. If you lose connectivity and you have a public, static IP address you are paying extra for, then please contact our NOC immediately. We will be working to ensure this doesn't happen and that the transition is seamless for you as well, but just in case. Public IPs from the old network WILL NOT WORK after Feb 7 and you will need new ones. The timeline is we will start the transition before Jan 31, and during the period of Jan 31 - Feb 7 we will be switching everyone over. after Feb 7 we will shut off the old0 feed and turn on the new. The end result? MORE BANDWIDTH for the networks to run on! We always like more of the good stuff! Weather event

Hi All, We are monitoring the forecast to see if the weather over the next 4-5 days will impact our support or services and so far, nothing too dramatic although some parts of our service area may see significant snow. and some wind. In the east side of our service area, there are significant accumulations of snow forecast, and in the area to the north of LC Valley winds and snow are forecast in significant amounts. In the LC Valley right now it's calling for a mix of snow and rain, so we are confident the infrastructure there will be solid. We are gearing up just in case there is damage to towers or our network infrastructure from wind, snow, or ice; we will try to keep you posted either via the customer portal, or the website as to any significant outages on the network. If you don't know about the Rodeo Customer Portal, it's a website where you can find information on the network, register or enter trouble tickets, find FAQs and more.
