I have talked to many of you this week, and I made an incorrect statement. I said the packets were due by June 1. This isn't true. - Our By-laws call for all state tournament brackets to be sent to West Region by June 1. - Our by-laws require all state packets to be out by June 15. I believe last year there were only two state packets actually out by June 15 - 3 & 5 - and the rest trickled in for as much as 10 days later. Please try to get these out by the deadline. Teams and parents depend on these to set time off and travel plans. - We have talked about having more streamlined packets. We will cover the rules at our manager's meeting, so there is no need to include rules information that they will not read, anyway. I am sorry for those that I sent into a panic (including the host league for the intermediate state tournament that I have pressed for information by Sunday) about the packet deadline. June 15 is so much more reasonable. Thank you, glen

Does anyone have a contact number for someone from Sports Connect? I have been waiting over 2 weeks for them to answer my emails, and nothing. I have called the number online and it hangs up on you lol So anyone out there have a number??? LOL

State Packet Site

Sometimes when a conversation gets to "I wish there was..." something good comes out of it. During a conversation with Bennan Moore of District 5 last week. The "I wish" was for a common site for all the state tournament packets. Even my limited tech knowledge, I thought someone who knew what he/.she was doing could set up something such as that. I also knew we had a very tech savvy information officer. I told him what I was thinking of and he has made it happen. All state packets should be sent to Rob Little at rlittle(a)d9ump.org, He will upload them. I think we want to wait to pass on this password and site and give them just to the winning manager/president/spouse so everyone can't get into this site and start critiquing way before tournament time. The fact that he is giving us score editing rights is another reason we don't want everyone accessing this site. Rob explained the process in an email: "Please let everyone know to send their state packets and their brackets to me. I have a page setup on the state website: 2025 Tournament Administration | Washington State Little League <https://www.littleleaguewa.org/2025-tournament-administration/> The password is “Wash2025”. The DA’s should send their packets and brackets to me and I will upload them to the website and put links on this page. I will also include links to the brackets on this page – they will be able to edit the bracket to update scores (they can only change the score) so we can allow the tournament officials to edit the scores as well." Housing surprise for 10-11 State Tournament

Hi All, We here in D13 are working on a deal with a developer who has built a vacation rental property in Cheney that's pretty amazing . He has completely renovated a multi-story building into a VRBO condominium kind of thing. It may have enough capacity to house the entire tournament - players, families, and umpires... we are not sure yet how many rooms are available that week and what the costs will be for it, but it APPEARS from discussions today that it will beat the heck out of any hotels in the area. It also has a very nice coffee shop/café kind of place on the ground floor that is currently not open - we may get a local restauranteur to open it for ourselves to be exclusively for Little League families, and I am currently shopping arcade games and pool tables to put in the other retails space on the lower level. It also has a self-serve laundromat... (!) Don't try to sniff it out just yet as we are working on a special rate for Little League. They have 2,3, and 4 bedroom suites in the building... If we can rent the whole thing up, then we may get a better price than you could individually. We are not completely sure what to do with it at this time, but it could be very good for the tournament folks if we can make some of this happen. If it works out we will have a pretty amazing facility to house the state tournament folks - the whole shebang. I am attaching some photos to give you the idea of what we are talking about . We are thinking this would also be a hub for several of the activities we have planned as it is close to the fields... almost within walking distance... and it may be close to other things we have planned... so stay tuned. We wanted to get this out so no one made arrangements until we had a definitive "yes or no" on if we can get this facility. I'll try to let you know tomorrow (6/3) what is going on with this --- if it works out- it would be good for everyone! Count of Districts sending Teams to State Tournaments

Hi, I'm not sure how this has been handled in the past, but how about a single shared file that everyone can update to list if their District will be sending a team at specific levels to each State Tournament? I have created a simple chart and shared it on my shared Google Drive. Everyone has EDIT access to it (provided you have a Google account). Intermediate State

I would like to get my bracket done for intermediate state by the end of next week. Last year everyone except districts 5, 11 and 13 participated. If you are one of those three and plan to enter this year, please let me know. If you entered last year and don't plan to enter this year, please let me know. Hey, I am curious on if your district uses a website versus Facebook for all your communications or if you use a website who do you use for your website? District 6 website desperately needs to be revamped so trying to think of the easiest way to do that. Thank you for any inside. You guys have on us.
