Meeting Notice, Materials and List Verification

We have several lists that have been made to send information to D.A.s. I don’t know if any of them are complete. To try to unsnarl this, I am sending this notice to everyone on all the lists. Ideally some of you will get three notices and some six. I am naming each of them so we can determine who is on the lists. My goal is to get everyone on the State list and State D.A. list J.P. has set up for us. J.P. says that in order to get his list if you are on gmail, you need to go into Google /Gmail and let it know the address is OK… if they are rejecting it before you get it, then you won’t see it in your spam folder. I have planned the meeting for Nov. 10 at 6:30. If due to me not verifying the emails, this won’t work, we can move the meeting to next week. The meeting information is attached as “Use Google Meet …” Also attached are the tournament checklist (revised with advice from my presidents since the first one I sent out that many of you may not have seen yet); meeting agenda; last meeting minutes, and Association organizational document with suggested changes (these are detailed at the very end of the document). For D.A.s, let me know if you don’t get one or more of the six emails you should get. I don’t need to know if you got them. Only if you don’t. Tell me which ones you got and I can figure out which one or ones you are not on properly. For none D.A.s, let me know if you don’t get all three. I don’t need to know if you got them. I have had a phone call indicating some leagues will be sending donations in addition to districts. They require more time to get checks than Monday. I will wait at least two weeks before sending the check to Western Region. At our state meeting we decided that districts would send $50 each to support The group that supports, guides and generally takes care of teams that go to San Bernardino – including the Washington champions. To date, I have received donations from Districts 3, 8 & 9. I would like to mail a check by Monday, so please send donations right away or let me know you won’t be contributing so I know what to expect from which districts. Thanks, Glen

All, I wanted to encourage you all to use the wadas(a)lists.rodeonetworks.com <mailto:wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> mailing list to address all DAs at the same time. The reason for this is that sending to this ONE ADDRESS eliminates the need to add each person's email individually to the email header. use this ONE LIST ADDRESS and everyone should get it.. and if they send any email address changes to me, I'll get them changed immediately. Why do this? A) Because it requires only one address to be typed in to reach EVERYONE.. And 2) For those of you that are sending email from certain domains, it keeps the email from getting blocked by SPAM filters.. You see some of you are either sending from domains that are known spamming domains, or in the past or currently you have an infected machine that is flagged as sending hostile emails (those containing a virus). SO SPAM filters, including MINE wind up tossing important emails that some of you with these issues in the email function send. in other words, using the list server we have we avoid certain SPAM problems, or leaving someone out of the email chain because we forgot to type in one of their addresses out of 10 or 15 addresses. Just make sure if you change your email to let me know AND use wadas(a)lists.rodeonetworks.com <mailto:wadas@lists.rodeonetworks.com> for emails that go to every DA. that way I don't have to check my SPAM filter every 2 hours to see if someone's email got dumped .. New Mandate from Govenor?

Hi All, I am getting questions from leagues about the new mandate issued by the Governor. The biggest question they all ask is "do we all have to get vaccinated" because they are indicating that school coaches have to get and some city volunteers in various sports programs are required to be fully vaccinated? Error in Brackets for Intermediate

Hi All, There seems to be an error in the brackets for Intermediate. I thought I had checked the earlier work sheet.but this bracket on the website doesn't seem to show the correct listing for District 5. District 5 WILL have an Intermediate team coming to State. In all District 5 is sending: 8-10 (Pullman Little League) 10-11(Walla Walla Valley Little League) 11-12/Majors (Walla Walla Valley Little League) Intermediate (TBD tonight on the championship what-if game - Either Pullman or Touchet Valley Little League) District 13 has the following teams going to State 8-10 Liberty Lake Little League Majors Liberty Lake Little League Regards JP DA WA 5/13
