Mileage Reimbursement for State Tournament

All, I can begin the process for mileage reimbursements for those of you that sent teams to the State Tournament. for that I need to get the following from each of you that sent teams to the State Tournaments: 1. Your league name 2. Your Zipcode 3. The location the bulk of the tournament was played and the zipcode for that location 4. The date the tournament started you played in Once I get that, I can submit the forms. Please send it to me before Aug 1 so I can get your reimbursements processed in a timely fashion. They DO have a time limit on which they operate. Here is the way the reimbursements work: You will be given $1 per mile OVER 150 travelled ROUND TRIP (most of the leagues here in 5 and 13 have 300-500 miles or so round trip). They reimburse the LEAGUE for this and the LEAGUE will distribute the reimbursement to the families/teams traveling. This distribution does NOT come from Little League to the parents or players. It goes to the LEAGUE for Distribution. Please get this to me ASAP so I can get them processed. JP DA WA5/13

Packets and Pictures for State

All You should have your State packets by now and should be sending in your team rosters, pictures, and coaching staff details (names, photos, etc) to the Tournament directors of each division. They will need it this weekend, Tuesday at the latest so they can print programs and other goodies for the State tournaments. please hop on this so your players can get the full experience of being recognized for their accomplishments. Getting Ready For State!

All, As we approach the end of the District Tournaments, and prepare for State, please go to the earlier emails I sent out about State Packets and Brackets. There is a link on the State LL website that has every tournament, bracket, and packet. For those of you that have never gone to State (and we have a couple!) - there are packets that are put out by the host league that have everything in them you will need to know to go to State. where to get hotels, directions, restaruants, attractions for "extracurricular" activities, parades, etc. For those of you that are playing in the State tournament without participating in Districts (those that were in a division where there were no other teams).. you will need a Waiver Letter for Advance Without Play from the District Administrator. Please contact me ASAP to get your letter. Good Luck at State! We will post the results of the District Tournament when play is complete at the end of today! Great job to all for participating! I want to say thanks to the ADAs who helped tremendously during this time. it was a lot of miles on the truck this week getting to both tournaments! JP DA WA 5/13
