They had some issues with the website and the applications will not open until after the new year. Please pass along the information to your Leagues so that they are aware that some of the recipients may not be able to pay until then. District Meeting LL

Hi All Just reminding everyone that there will be District meetings starting this weekend (Dist 5, on the 22nd), and next weekend (Dist 13). Dist 5 will be in Dayton at the Best Western. Brennan will be contacting all board members to invite them (ALL members are invited, PRESIDENTS please make it a priority to attend. We have a TON to go over. Dist 13 will be the next weekend (29th) in Spokane (Hampton Inn - Airport). Stacy has been contacting all the Boards to get head counts - both meetings will be providing lunch and snacks/beverages. PLEASE BE PROMPT we have a ton of stuff to go over this season.Tons. gobs.. Sprague Little League is moving to Dist 13 from Dist 5, so please attend the Spokane meeting all you Sprague Folks! Hi All, Wanted to remind you about the meeting coming up that is required for ALL leagues to attend… it is Saturday October 29th from 9am - 3pm at the Hampton Inn near the Spokane Airport! Stacy Ashcroft the District 13 ADA will be contacting you to confirm the headcount coming from your League – all BOARD MEMBERS are invited to attend… there will be a BIG agenda. I’d also like to announce the new ADA/ District Umpire-In-Chief, Mr. Mark Dixon. Hi All, We have our annual Little League meetings coming up starting in about 10 days - District 5 will have one Oct 15, in Dayton. District 13 will have theirs Oct 29 in Cheney. Meetings will start at 9:30 and run till we are done (probably around 3:00PM). We have A LOT to cover this year..many new rules changes, and possible structure changes to Little League itself. The ADAs will be calling each board member to get a head count for lunch. They will be doing this in the next few days. please make plans to attend. ALL PRESIDENTS should attend, and ANY BOARD MEMBERS that wish to attend should do so as well. ALL BOARD MEMBERS ARE INVITED. We will have lunch catered in and there will be drinks and snacks for all. District Travel Ball now available

All, I have been learning about the offering of "District Travel Ball" for Little League. we will discuss this more in our October Meeting regarding what the guidelines, rules, and best practices are for District Travel Ball. A quick overview is this: Little League has implemented a "District Travel Ball" program that allows for Districts to form traveling teams. These teams can travel as little or as much as they like, and they play other "District" or "Extra District" teams. They can be formed sort of like "All Star Teams" - and play during the regular season. We will discuss IF we want to implement this program, and how it is implemented as ONE of the agenda items for the October meeting.
