Hi All, We are seeing registrations beginning to come in. Some leagues have finally started getting some sign ups and others are in the middle of their sign ups... keep in mind, Feb/Early March is when you need to be prepared for "onslaughts". I will share more results with you from the general marketing the District did and where those results were best felt in terms of public responses. Here are some specific notes from Little League about the upcoming season: League Visitations Please send us the names of any leagues in your District that would like to be considered for a League Visitation with a Regional Staff member. It would be helpful to provide some information about the league (good, bad, or otherwise). If they would like to address a particular topic, that would also be helpful. We will then try and schedule the visits over the course of the Spring and Fall. Rule Correction: Reg IV(i) NOTE 5m 2.0 At-bat definition, & 3.03(a) NOTE: : Does not apply in Tournament Play or anytime the continuous batting order is used. Update on Registration Marketing

Hi All, As you may recall, about 2 ½ weeks ago we split the District in half and marketed the leagues in the north have (spent money on them), and had pretty decent results. Then about a week ago I did the same for the leagues in the south and west part of the District - The results are in for this round. The north out performed the southern part in terms of interactions with our Facebook page and Website. There were more conversations held with folks from the north part of the District than the south part. The reach was "fewer people" but the responses were more, and better quality. HOWEVER in the southern part the reach was about 2x what it was in the south and the click throughs to the website were over 700 clicks to the website from the advertising. Registration and ASAP

Hi All, Two things... 1. The new marketing/advertising for Registrations for the "other leagues" started on Tuesday 1/14. We have seen about 2000 ad impressions in the area we are marketing to since the campaigns started (it means 2000 folks have seen the advertising for registration for your leagues - that doesn't mean we have talked to 2000 people)... the leagues being promoted this go around are Liberty Lake, South Hill, West Plains, and Bi-County. (Last week we did Tri-County, Pend Orielle, North Spokane and a tad bit of Bi-County). I have answered 4 inquiries since yesterday (started responding this morning). Most are for West Plains and South Hill. The marketing will run until the 21st. Then we will start the next round. You can support this effort by keeping your websites fresh, and posting daily on Facebook, Instagram, or whatever social media you are working with about registrations. Keep it fresh... 2. ASAP plans need to be turned in... If we get them in BEFORE APRIL 1 the District gets a $600 credit with Little League. We use this to pay for banners, pins, promotional materials, etc. PLEASE GET YOUR ASAP PLANS IN! District 13 results for registration advertising

Hi All, We have done almost 5 days of advertising for registrations for the Leagues in District 13. I think we are doing pretty good. So far we have seen almost 200 page likes on a generic youth sports group from a post we did there... on Facebook and our Facebook page (all combined). We have had 131 website visits to the District 13 website. Of the direct inquires I have received (To which I have been giving out the president's phone number and links to the registration websites I have). Keep in mind, these are people that are INTERACTING with us. This does not include everyone who sees the advertising and goes to your registrations website without interacting with us. Deer Park - 4 Pend Orielle - 1 North Spokane - 9 South Hill - 2 West Plains - 0 Bi-County - 0 Liberty Lake -0 This is what I expected for West Plains, Liberty Lake, and South Hill since we didn't market to them (yet). We have had two inquiries about Challenger Division which I sent over to South Hill - (I am telling the people to go there)... I have forwarded those to South Hill as they were the closest league to them that had Challenger division. We really need more Challenger opportunities... I think there are a lot of people out there that would take advantage if we had those programs in every league. I had to send them to South Hill because the leagues in between them and South Hill didn't offer Challenger. We have gotten all but two of these inquiries from Facebook/Instagram . A couple have emailed directly from other advertising. The district so far has spent about $800 since November promoting the Umpire Clinic coming up in March, The Leagues in general, and of that $800 about $200 has been spent directly on Registrations since Jan 1. I am pleased with the amount of Likes we are getting, and requests to follow the District Facebook page(s). Website traffic is looking good. The numbers show a growing awareness of Little League in the area and 99% of the comments being left are extraordinarily favorable. We have had only one negative comment posted and that's from someone who has involvement in the youth sports program in Omak. They didn't want Little League because "we are doing fine by ourselves"... Other than that, I am anticipating an uptick across the board in Registrations this year. Next week we will focus on West Plains, South Hill, and Liberty Lake... One thing to note, it's far better to have a real URL for your registration website (like http://www.westplainslittleleague.com) instead of the default Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect one that looks like this: http://leagues.bluesombreror.com/default.aspx?tabid 199267/registration etc...... those are hard for people to wrap their heads around. You can set up those URLs pretty easily, let me or Stacy know if you need help with that. This week it's Pend Orielle, Tri-County, and North Spokane... next week it will be West Plains, Bi-County, South Hill, and Liberty Lake...
